Gift Card Encounter

Today I had the privilege of meeting Krista.

She found herself in a tough spot trying to get out of a bad situation. I passed by the sidewalk she was on knowing I needed to give her a gift card and pray with her. I pulled up to offer the McDonald's card and asked if she knew who Jesus was? She immediately replied, "yes" and asked if I could pray with her.

Krista had been standing there, overwhelmed by her circumstance, praying to God for help. I shared how God has transformed my life, how He's been Faithful to me for so long and how He wants to do the same for her! I gave her a card that points to the 34eight web site - explaining that there are stories she can read of other people who have experienced Jesus in their lives.

These simple encounters are like seeing miracles performed right before my eyes! To witness someone have a true encounter with Jesus is something you never get tired of.
