Cross Walk - Marion, IL

I had a great time with The Cross tonight in Marion. Despite the cold, there was a lot of people gathered at the square for ice skating. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas and even had a Nativity Scene! My walk started there and within 45 minutes I met Moses. A 43 year old man that grew up on the streets of Marion. I offered him a bottle of water and a snack as we talked about The Cross. He was very knowledgeable about the Bible and we talked about different scriptures as we walked together for the next 30 minutes. It was encouraging to see this man’s faith and hope in Jesus, despite having a rough life. It’s a joy and honor to meet people like Moses and see God’s goodness as I walk The Cross!
