Cross Walk - Carbondale, IL

Date Night with the Cross, what could be better then that?! It was a nice evening tonight, there were a lot of people out. We had some good talks with several people. Our encounter with “Hicks” really stood out though. He saw the Cross from a distance, turned around and crossed 3 lanes of traffic dodging cars to talk with us… He mentioned how the home he shares with others, feels dark and evil, that he needed a cross like we have to put on his porch. We shared how the name of Jesus has power and encouraged him to pray and speak to Jesus. You could tell that simple moment gave him a boost and provided him with something he needed.

Isn’t it amazing how God is Faithful to meet our needs, encourages and equips us for the journey ahead?! Taste and See that God is Good…
